PROJECT OF THE YEAR - NEW HEADQUARTERS FOR COLORADO SPRINGS NON-PROFIT
The Hillside Hub is a full design & build project, including complete site land development, for Food To Power of Colorado Springs. We utilized one of our own single slope steel buildings and created customized add-ons for a truly unique building. The result is a modern low-maintenance building with a beautiful mix of steel, glass, wood & stone. The almost 2 acres vacant lot has been transformed to include their new headquarters with amazing views of the entire surrounding mountain range including Pikes Peak. The building includes open offices with small meeting huddle rooms & a glass encased conference room with a folding glass wall, employee break area, plenty of storage, bathrooms and a full kitchen in the large food distribution room with a full-view overhead door. Building features also include an outdoor kitchen space, large patios with southern & western exposure and recessed end walls with a white perforated steel shade structure. The site was also planned and built with a large parking lot, oversized refuse enclosure and matching custom compost storage enclosure.
